Athletic Staff

Kris Gouty will be starting her first year as Athletic Director at Chapel Hill 7th & 8th Grade Center, and her 15th year in athletics and education. Kris comes from Warren Township where she taught PE and coached Track & Field.

Kris earned both her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Indiana State University. Upon graduation she moved to Indianapolis for Law School. While in Law School Kris started coaching Track and Field at Ben Davis and quickly realized working in athletics and education would positively impact more students than being a Juvenile Public Defender. She completed a Transition to Teach program focused on Secondary Urban Education at IUPUI and has been living the dream ever since.

Along with Athletic Director duties Kris also teaches AVID, an elective focused on preparing kids for college and careers. When she is not at work Kris enjoys fitness, traveling adventures, sports, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family.

Logan is entering her 5th year as the athletic trainer for Chapel Hill 7th & 8th Grade Center and Ben Davis High School. She is an Ohio native and moved to the Indianapolis area after graduating with a Bachelor’s in Athletic Training from Ball State University in 2018. During her time at BSU, she worked with a variety of division I sports, high schools, and age groups.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter Berklie and husband Steve, going on walks with her dog Nova, and rooting for her favorite teams! (Da Bears and THE Ohio State University).

She is excited to return this season and serve Wayne Township!
